So I was thinking about making more posts highlighting specific writers, and I read that Hannah Moskowtiz, author of recent Stonewall honor book Gone Gone Gone, has another book starring gay teens coming out this March, Marco Impossible. Then I realized she’s also the author of Teeth, this weird dark book with mermaids and queer themes that just came out, about which I’ve heard a few rave reviews. She’ll have published five books in two and half years - wow cool, she’s a YA powerhouse, I’m thinking.
I went poking around her blog and discovered - Hannah Moskowitz is twenty-one years old. Twenty-one, and six books under her belt! I don’t really have a list of “writers to watch” but goddang… she would be, you know, on it.
